Our self catering Barcelona apartments (fully equipped kitchen, bed linen & towels provided, broadband Internet, etc.) are located in great locations as the Gothic Neighborhood, close to the well known Ramblas, or in the Eixample District  near Gaudi’s famous works like Sagrada Familia Temple and Casa Batllo or Casa Mila "La Pedrera" and also in s interesting neighborhoods like Vila de Gracia, Poblenou, Pobles Sec and walking distance to the most interesting sites of the city and also well connected with several Metro lines, buses and the Tourist bus. We had a wonderful vacation staying at the Ramblas Clock apartment. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It was centrally located in the Gotic area of Barcelona within walking distance of the subway - Liceu stop on the green line, Las Ramblas, Placa de Catalunya, Picasso Museum, La Boqueria market and many more points of interest. Many local cafes serving great tapas are less than a 5 minute walk away and if you like fresh bread for breakfast, you just have to walk outside your door to find it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hola Hop, Como estas? Nosotros como siempre super contentos de que mis abuelos se puedan quedar en el fabuloso apartamento de Gran Via y muy agradecidos con vuestro impecable servicio. Ya finalizada la estadia de mis abuelos en el piso, como siempre se han encontrado maravillosamente! Mis abuelos llegaron bien a Venezuela y agradecen el buen servicio y el buen tiempo que pasaron aquí en este piso que casi sentimos como nuestro y al cual le tenemos tanto cariño por todos los buenos momentos y todo el tiempo que hemos pasado aqui.

Our two weeks here in Barcelona were wonderful. We went to a lot of places, but still there were some places that we couldn’t. This is an amazing city, with lots of things to do. The food was marvelous and we gained a few pounds. Although it was winter the climate was fair with very little rain. The apartment was a home away from home for us, and it contained everything that we possibly need, as well as the neighborhood had all the services and supplies at very near walking distance. It was perfect.

Barcelona is a city with a large history even though it became popular after the summer Olympics of 1992 and since it has became one of the most visited cities in the world that has enchanted the visitors due its rich history, amazing architecture and the Mediterranean friendly atmosphere. From the Roman ruins or the Jewish quarter, the Plaça Reial and the Old Walls of the Gothic Neighborhood, The Montjuic Mountain with its many attractions, the Eixample District with the long list of spectacular Modernist and Noucentist buildings from a long list of famous Catalan architects. It has also the tradition of the Mediterranean food that you can tast on bars and restaurants but that you can also find in the old local fresh food markets like the Boqueria Market in the Ramblas as the most popular, but that you can find also in every neighborhood like the Mercat de la Llibertat in the Vila de Gracia Neighborhood, or the Mercat the La Concepcio in la Dreta de l’Eixampe Neighborhood. Not to forget the Stadium of the Football Club Barcelona or the several parks from the classic Parc de la Ciutadel.la to the newest Parc Central del Poblenou from architect Jean Nouvel; the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the new architectonic icons, or the beaches for as relaxing day. Apartment Barcelona

From November 1st 2012 there is a new obligatory Catalonian government tourism tax of 0.72 € per person per night, not included in the total to be paid for the rental, that is applicable and must be paid in cash on arrival or if you prefer it can be taken from the refundable damages deposit on departure. This tax is paid for a minimum of one night and a maximum of seven nights. Children under the age of 17 are exempt.
