How to book

Choose an apartment

  • One by one you can look through all the apartments to see their descriptions, photos, availability calendars, floor plans, maps and rates and fees, to find one that suits your purposes.
  • Or by making an AVAILABILITY SEARCH, simply enter arrival date, departure date and the number of people who will be staying in the apartment, click on the red search button and you will be provided with a  reduced list of apartments that are available for your dates and that have capacity to sleep the number of people you indicted. This list also provides the corresponding total price to pay for each apartment already including applicable special offers and special event surcharges. Calculations are based on dates and number of people requested. Please be aware that in this reduced list there may be some apartments that require a longer stay than the nights you are searching for. These apartments will be marked with a note reminding you that they have a longer required minimum stay for your requested dates.

Check the Availability Calendar

  • In the first case above, you will need to check the calendar to see if the apartment you have chosen is available for the nights you expect to stay in Barcelona. The availability calendars are on line so in the calendar you will see if the apartment is available (date box is white), has been pre-reserved (date box is green) (pre-reservations are only kept 24 hours, time to make pre-payment effective) or if that night has a confirmed booking (date box is orange-red).
     

Check the Costs
To calculate the price of the chosen apartment you should take note of:  

  • The nightly price, for the number of people requested, that appears in the rates section of the complete information of each apartment.
  • Remember: the rates depend on seasons, special events, congresses, fairs and holidays (see the Special Events, Congresses, Fairs and Holidays table in each apartment’s profile). Also check the special offers list from the main menu to see if any discount on the daily rate has been applied for the nights you are interested in. 
  • The cleaning service fee, and
  • The booking fee.
  • The breakage or damage deposit is not included in the total price to pay, nor are late arrival or early departure fees if applicable.

Bookings on Line

  • The apartments are divided into two different classifications; some permit ON–LINE BOOKING and the others permit REQUEST BOOKING.
  • Once you know your travel dates and have selected an apartment, click on the ON-LINE BOOKING or REQUEST BOOKING button. The type of button available depends on the apartment you have chosen. This will provide you with the corresponding booking form.  Fill in the form with all the requested information possible and click on the send button. You will receive in return an automatic answer e-mail with:
    • Your pre-reservation information and prices for you to approve,
    • A booking code that you will need to include as the subject in all future communications, and
    • The pre-payment information.
    • Remember that once the booking form is sent a pre-reservation is created in the system and the availability calendar will automatically block out as pre-reserved the chosen dates (for 24 hours) to allow for the pre-payment to confirm the reservation. If the pre-payment is not received the pre-reservation will be automatically cancelled.

Payments 

  • For ON–LINE BOOKING once the booking form has been sent you will be presented with the option to pay and confirm the booking at this time via Visa or MasterCard or delay the pre-payment up to 24 hours. If you choose to pay at this time you will be taken to a secure payment form to enter your Visa or MasterCard details. If you choose to pay within 24 hours you will be sent an e-mail with the information you will require to make the pre-payment within 24 hours.
  • For REQUEST BOOKING once the booking form has been sent you will be sent an automatic e-mail confirming your pre-reservation pending the confirmation by the apartment owner of availability. We will then reconfirm with the apartment owner the availability for your requested dates. Once the availability is confirmed a 24 hour block will be put on your dates and you will be notified that you have 24 hours to make the pre-payment required to confirm the pre-reservation.
  • In both of the above cases, to confirm your pre-reservation a minimum pre-payment of 30% must be made (for some special events dates you will be advised that a pre-payment of 100% will be required). The client will have to pay this amount through Visa or MasterCard or a bank transfer (SWIFT/BIC). For details see Payment Conditions.
  • All remaining unpaid quantities will have to be made effective in CASH (dollars) on arrival (please be sure you have enough cash on hand when you meet the receptionist).
