The apartment

Very special apartment in Buenos Aires in a first floor through stairwell access, completely renewed  in 2004,  maintaining the original marble and pine wood floors as well as the original woodwork of double doors and shutters. The rooms of over 3 meters height open to a bright colourful veranda with plants. Warm and nicely decorated with style furniture and interesting artwork pieces.

• The master bedroom, very bright, has a double bed and spacious closets.
• The third room is a home office space, accessible by a staircase, that can bue used as a bedroom

• Full bathroom with old style bathroom furniture, fixtures and fittings.
• Open kitchen equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave, a gas stove and oven, a juicer, a blender, an electric toaster and complete tableware for 8 people.
• Separate hot water provided by a gas water heater as well as gas heating in the apartment provided by a balanced flue heater.
• Satellite TV, DVD, Stereo with MP3.
• Broad-band WIFI Internet connection.

The building:

Very interesting French-style Academic 7 story high building from 1920, included in the Buenos Aires Architectural Heritage list, just 4 blocks from the Belgrano Subte Station of the Pink Metro Line E.

Location:

Located in the old section of the Montserrat neighbourhood in the semi pedestrian Peru street on the limit with San Telmo Neighbourhood.
Some of the most important buildings in Buenos Aires like the City Hall, the City Legislature, the Buenos Aires Cabildo, the Casa Rosada, the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral, the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires, the Libertador Building (Ministry of Defence) and the National Bank of Argentina are featured in this area some of them around the well known Avenida de Mayo.
The Peru Street is being recovered recently in order to continue the pedestrian mall from Florida Street, in order to unite the Centre with the Neighbourhoods of San Telmo and La Boca through a nice stroll with colonial streetlights, benches and trees.
Also close to the bohemian San Telmo Neighbourhood with the nice antique shops and on  weekends with pedestrian streets full artists, puppeteers, magicians and living statues, outdoor bars and terraces and also at Dorrego Square the  very well known Feria de San Telmo, a semi-permanent exhibition of antiquities with 270 stands and around 10.000 visitors during every Sunday.

Rates

High Season: August to December.
Normal Season: January to July.
 

In general there is a 7 nights minimum stay requirement.  

Booking fee: 15 US dollars due to management expenses.
Breakage or damage deposit: The owner asks for a deposit as a guarantee for the flat (this absolutely must be paid in cash on arrival). The amount will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been done.
 

For stays shorter than one month: cost of 1 week rent will be requested as deposit

For stays of one month or longer than one month: cost of 1 month rent will be requested as deposit.
 

Guests must return the apartment in the same clean conditions in which it was presented upon arrival. The inclusion of cleaning services in the price of the rent does not revoke the obligation of guests to leave the property in the same conditions upon arrival.

If the property is returned in an inadequate state of order and cleanliness, the owner is authorized to deduct from the deposit the cost of cleaning necessary to return the property to its original condition.

General Check in time: Normal check in time is from 14:00Hs onward.
To ensure the possibility of a check in before the time or stay after hours on departure, it must be made a reservation for one night before or after a night respectively.

Late arrival/early departure fee:  For check out or check in outside of working hours, from 8:00 to 21:00Hs, an additional fee of 25 US dollars will be charged. 

Contract fee:  There is a general fix charge of  35 US dollars as Contract Fee.

Please note:  Reduction of number of guests or of number of nights: These changes must be advised prior to arrival.
Once pre-payment has been made, which confirms a reservation, the reduction of the number of guests or of number of nights, will be subject to a 25.00 euros administration fee for the recalculation of pricing.
But if the number of nights or of guests is reduced between 7 days prior to the arrival and the arrival - recalculation of the price is not possible.

Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona and to enjoy the stay. Clients MUST RESPECT the neighbours, as the apartment is in a residential block. No parties are allowed in the apartment, party outside. If the neighbours complain or the police is called it will result in immediate eviction without refund.

The meeting point for this apartment is in front of the same building.
Check in time must be organized prior to arrival.
On arrival day, if you see that your travel plans are delayed please call  to forewarn and avoid unnecessary waits.
