Swab International Art Fair

A long list of more than 40 galleries will attend to this new contemporary art fair in Barcelona from different countries of Europe, United Sates, Canada, Brazil, China and Japan. The selection committee for this first year of Swab has well known names as Leo Konig (from Leo Koenig Inc, New York), Marta Moriarty (from Vacío 9, Madrid) and Fred London (from Fred London, UK). These galleries will bring well-known contemporary artists and also the new names that emerge and have never presented their works in Spain.
The place chosen for this exhibition is the old medieval building of the Reales Atarazanas (Build in between the XII and XIV centuries, the royal shipyards were designed as a dockyard for galleys; area in which ships were to be constructed, repaired and maintained, as well as to serve the war fleet of the Crown of Aragon). From May 11 till May 13 in Av. De les Drassanes s/n.
