Autumn-Winter Barcelona Accommodation Special Offers. The busy warm summer season is getting to an end. Barcelona has just celebrated its Patrons feast day of La Virgen de la Merced (The Virgin of Mercy) on September 24 with the city full of tourists and the streets with lots of action, but the weather is changing and the warm days are getting to an end. Now we are looking forward for the new seasons to come and we have special prices in our Barcelona apartments. We are still looking forward to have new visitors to come and new events in Barcelona in the next months, like the visit of Pope Benedict XVI that will be in Barcelona in November 7 to consecrate the Temple of the Sacred Familiy (Templo de la Sagrada Familia), still unfinshed work from famous Catalan Modernist Architect Antoni Gaudi. The Temple will be proclaimed by Pope Benedict a Basilica. The work in progres has still an unclear finish date as the works have been progressing much faster and it is possible that it will be finished before 2026, the 100th anniversary of Gaudi's death, althought it is still not clear.
