The Barcelona Half Marathon, the first long distance race held in the city each year, in its 21st edition will take place this year on January 30th on the distance of 21.097 km, certified by the Royal Spanish Athletic Federation (RFEA), with the start and end on the Passeig Lluis Companys.

The third edition of Garmin Barcelona Triathlon will take place in Barcelona on October 10th 2010, with a very similar route as last edition and some modifications that will make it even more exciting.
The Triathlon is a combined endurance sport in which the participant performed three tests. These are: swimming, cycling and running. The order is set and the clock does not stop during the entire duration of the competition.
