In July 4th 2010 it will take place in the Circuit de Catalunya near the city of Barcelona the 7th race of this year Moto GP World Championship, the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya. This year the Spanish riders will visit the Montmelo Circuit with excellent results in the previous races and with five riders at the top of the 3 categories.

The Motorcycling World Championship start on March 9 2008 at the Losail Circuit in Qatar, and is coming back to the Circuit de Catalunya with the thrilling Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya de MotoGP on June 6, 7 and 8.
In 125 cc the first 5 pilots with the Spanish Nico TEROL and Joan OLIVE in the middle have only 16 points difference. In 250 cc Mika Kallio with KTM has been the strongest.
And in MotoGP Valentino ROSSI is back with his Yamaha trying to make history and with Jorge LORENZO and Dani PEDROSA fighting for the first 3 places.

The FIA, has announced the calendar for the 2008 world championship. New races in Singapore and Valencia in Spain have been added, and with the omission of a US Grand Prix, makes a total of 18 rounds - one more than in 2007.
The opening race will be the Australian Grand Prix on March 16, followed by Malaysia and Bahrain, before the championship heads to Europe.
