Barcelona Marathon 2011
The new edition of Marató Barcelona will be this Sunday March 8th.
Since 2006 the race has been gaining numbers of runners from 4.425 in 2006 till 12.211 in 2010, and this year is expected to have even more runners divided in the 6 different categories: starting with Sub 23 (between 18 and 22 years) and Senior (from 23 to 44 years) to the 4 different categories for Veterans (A from 35 to 44 years; B from 45 to 54 years; C from 55 to 64 years and D from 65 years over). The Marató de Barcelona of 2009 will be taking place on March 1st.The race will start at 8:30 am, with an approximate running time for the first runner of 2 hours and 15 minutes, and with an expected record of participants.Open to athletes of all nationalities, licensed or non licensed.
