The third edition of Garmin Barcelona Triathlon will take place in Barcelona on October 10th 2010, with a very similar route as last edition and some modifications that will make it even more exciting.
The Triathlon is a combined endurance sport in which the participant performed three tests. These are: swimming, cycling and running. The order is set and the clock does not stop during the entire duration of the competition. The rules of the competition are those of the Catalan Triatló, and specific provisions contained in this regulation.

Garmin Barcelona Triathlon

On the first weekend of October the Triathlon is back in Barcelona. In this year edition the expectation is much higher as it it the first time that this race has become one of the tests of the main European Tour for triathlon: the European Cities Tri-Series.
The Triathlon Ciutat de Barcelona is divided into 4 categories (sprint, olímpica, supersprint & Tri-corporate) which will attempt to collect a global of more than 2,500 participants.

The XII EuroGames, a sort of "Olympic Games” will take place this year in Barcelona from July 24th-27th. Since 1992 when the first EuroGames were carried out in the city of Den Haag till today many other European cities like Berlin, Paris, Manchester or Zurich have already received the games, but it is the first time that the games arrive to the Mediterranean Sea.
