The apartment

95 m2 Barcelona apartment, sunny, on the fifth floor of an elevator building. In the same building there are several other apartments to rent, two same size and other smaller apartments. Recently renewed, refurbished and decorated with comfortable and modern furniture, in an old building with a classic modernist façade.

• One large in-suite bedroom with one double bed and a single bed with no dividing door, clothes closet and a full bathroom with bathtub with shower fixtures.
• One bedroom with two single beds. 
• One small bedroom with a single bed and closet space.
• Another complete bathroom with bathtub with shower fixtures.
• Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, gas hob stove, oven, microwave oven, toaster, and all necessary equipment for cooking.
• Washing machine.
• Colour TV, DVD player, iron and ironing board, hair dryer.
• Central heating and air conditioning.
• High-speed wireless connection at a small extra cost.*
• Bath towels and bed linen are provided.
• Beach towels are not provided.
• Cot for babies upon request with a charge of 20.00 euros. Baby linens are not provided.

The building:

Is a completely renovated six-story construction from 1901 with a new elevator, located on one of the most well known avenues of Barcelona.

 

  

 

Location:

In what was the frontier between the new development (circa 1820’s) of Barcelona, called “L’Eixample” (the expansion) and the old village of Gracia. The perfect place to enjoy the best of both worlds. On one hand close to all the modernist buildings, five minutes walking distance from Gaudi’s well known works on the Paseo de Gracia, specially “La Pedrera”, the first stop on any Gaudi tour in Barcelona; and all of the most elegant, upscale shopping in the city. On the other hand all the benefits and advantages of living in a small charming Old World town; complete with small town squares, local old style markets and little cafes and restaurants.
Being in the heart of Barcelona you are walking distance to nearly everything of interest in town and also very well connected with lots of buses, metro and subway lines.

Booking fee: 10 euros due to management expenses.
Cleaning service fee: There is an obligatory one-time fee of 34.00 euros for apartment-cleaning service at the end of your stay, not included in the above rates tables.
Breakage or damage deposit: At arrival you can provide your credit card details or leave a cash deposit of 150.00 euros. Groups of six or more people will be charged a security deposit of 50.00 euros/person. The amount will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been done.

Check in time: Check in time is from 13 to 23:00Hs. Later hours only by previous arrangement.

Check out time: Check out time is at 11:00Hs.

Please note:  Reduction of number of guests or of number of nights: These changes must be advised prior to arrival.
Once pre-payment has been made, which confirms a reservation, the reduction of the number of guests or of number of nights, will be subject to a 25.00 euros administration fee for the recalculation of pricing.
But if the number of nights or of guests is reduced between 7 days prior to the arrival and the arrival - recalculation of the price is not possible.

 

*WI FI Connection:  The owner of the apartment offers WIFI Internet connection in the apartment. Any incidence or problem concerning the Internet service due to the communications company that provides it (such as connection failures, signals, router, maintenance, etc.) WILL NOT REDUCE THE TOTAL PRICE FOR THE APARTMENT.

Internet information for guests travelling from USA and Israel: Wireless cards from USA and Israel may have incompatibilities in Spain.

Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona and to enjoy the stay. Clients MUST RESPECT the neighbours, as the apartment is in a residential block. No parties are allowed in the apartment, party outside. If the neighbours complain or the police is called it will result in immediate eviction without refund.

 

The Meeting Point

 

The meeting point for key pick up and check-in for this apartment is in the apartment owners’ office at the following address: Ronda Universitat, number 20.

 

Important: Since the office elevator has caused many problems in the past, it is very important that when you go to the apartment owners’ office for the check in or out, you do not use the lift with more than 4 people excluding luggage! In case of bigger groups we would appreciate if just one or two people go up to do the check in and the rest of the group wait downstairs outside the building! Thanks for your patience and consideration.
