On the fifth floor, with elevator, of a classic Barcelona building from the first half of the 20th century. Spacious old quarters have been refurbished for a more comfortable contemporary usage and decorated with stylish and modern furniture; resulting in a beautiful and very comfortable apartment.

Description of the layout:
- Spacious living area with two sofas and two arm chairs opened to one of the most well known tree lined boulevards of Barcelona.
- A large comfortable dining area with table and chairs for eight people.
- One big bedroom with a queen size bed (160 cm), an arm chair and a boudoir.
- One bedroom with double bed and closet space.
- One big bedroom with twin beds and closet space.
- One bedroom with trundle bed and closet space.
- Full bathroom inluding bathtub with shower fixtures and bidet.
- Full bathroom with shower.
- Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, gas hob stove, oven, microwave oven, toaster, juice squeezer, electric kettle, coffee and tea pots, and all necessary equipment for cooking.
- Washing Machine.
- Big colour TV, Stereo radio CD, iron and ironing board, hair dryers.
- Air conditioning and heating.
- Wi-fi Internet Connection.*
- Wooden floors.
- Traditional wooden windows that open to the balconies.
- Bath towels and bed linens are provided.

The building:
Wide elegant building form the first half of the 20th century with the original elevator restored with the traditional glass and wooden cabin typical of the period.
Location:
Centrally located in what was the big expansion (L’Eixample) of Barcelona in the middle of the 19th century. The building is located in the new development of the city outside of the medieval walls on a beautiful tree lined boulevard (the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes) next to the intersection with an important avenue (the Passeig de Sant Joan), and close to the Gothic Quarter and to the area that what was used for the Universal Exhibition of 1888 (known as the Ciutadella Park with the Zoo inside), the Catalan Parliament, and different buildings and monuments from different Modernist Architects of the time.
Walking distance to other important buildings from the famous Catalan Architect Gaudi in the Passeig de Gracia or his still unfinished church of la Sagrada Familia, or the modern buildings of the new Concert Hall L’Auditori or the new theatre El Teatre Nacional de Catalunya or the Parc de la Estació del Nord, the park developed on what used to be a train station.
The apartment is walking distance to different interesting sites of the Old Town (Ciutat Vella) and Eixample Districts, to mention some:

In general there is a 3 nights minimum stay requirement.
During special events, fairs, congresses and holidays the apartments may have:
- a surcharge,
- a different minimum stay,
- an obligatory prepayment of 100% - (see Terms and Conditions).

Booking fee: 10.00 euros due to management expenses.
Cleaning service fee: There is an obligatory one-time fee of 100.00 euros for apartment-cleaning service at the end of your stay, not included in the above rates tables.
Breakage or damage deposit: The owner asks for a deposit of 300.00 euros as a guarantee for the flat (this absolutely must be paid in cash on arrival). The amount will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been done.
Lost key surcharge: For every set of keys lost there is a 50.00 euros surcharge.
Check out time: Check out time is no later than 11:00Hs.
Late Arrivals-Early Departures Surcharge: Arrivals after 21:00Hs and Departures before 08:00Hs have to pay a surcharge of 30.00 euros (these surcharges must be paid to the receptionist in cash).
Tourism Tax: From November 1st 2012 there is a new obligatory Catalonian government tourism tax of 0.72 € per person per night, not included in the total to be paid for the rental, that is applicable and must be paid in cash on arrival or if you prefer it can be taken from the refundable damages deposit on departure. This tax is paid for a minimum of one night and a maximum of seven nights. Children under the age of 17 are exempt.
Please note: Reduction of number of guests or of number of nights: These changes must be advised prior to arrival.
Once pre-payment has been made, which confirms a reservation, the reduction of the number of guests or of number of nights, will be subject to a 25.00 euros administration fee for the recalculation of pricing.
But if the number of nights or of guests is reduced between 7 days prior to the arrival and the arrival - recalculation of the price is not possible.
*WI FI Connection: The owner of the apartment offers WI-FI Internet connection in the apartment free of charge. Any incidence or problem concerning the Internet service due to the communications company that provides it (such as connection failures, signals, router, maintenance, etc.) WILL NOT REDUCE THE TOTAL PRICE FOR THE APARTMENT.
IMPORTANT: Please read and take notice of House Rules and Terms and Conditions.
Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona and to enjoy the stay. Clients MUST RESPECT the neighbours, as the apartment is in a residential block. No parties are allowed in the apartment, party outside. If the neighbours complain or the police is called it will result in immediate eviction without refund.

The meeting point for this apartment is in front of the same building.
Please remember that once in Barcelona you must call to organize the check-in (allow for approximately 30 minutes minimum).

With some delay, I wanted to thank you for your email. Luckily we managed to reduce our son's ear pain with an oignon (my grandmam´s take), but until that helped we were reassured knowing where to go during that night in case things worsened.
We also wanted to tell you that we appreciated very much our stay in the Tetuan apartement. We liked that it was as nice as shown on the photos/videoclip on your web site. We appreciated the space, that the bed rooms where all oriented to the calm side of the house. We liked the old fashion style of the apartement, the lift and the house, which has a lot of charme. The apartement is very well placed in Barcelona. Parking areas are all around for our car. Somewhat expensive, but not surprising when you come from Paris. We found various well served supermarkets close to the house and it was very easy to find fresh fruits, vegetables and bread. To resume a very nice experience and definitively we will/would recommend you/the apartement to friends and familly members. We appreciated during the stay your responsiveness on our mails (such as finding a doctor for our son).
Maybe one suggestion. The apartement would even be greater with a dish washer (though we knew there wouldn't be one). And we would be the type of clients being ready to pay a little bit more for it...J

Hello Hop, We have now returned from our stay in Barcelona, and have nothing but praise for the lovely apartment. It really was quite special, and also very well equipped. We absolutely loved the apartment - it is very, very spacious and has a wonderful feeling of character and charm. It looked excellent on the website but we expected that it would not be so impressive when we got there, but if anything it was better. If we stay in Barcelona again we would definitely consider booking this apartment, and will not hesitate to recommend it to friends.
