The apartment

Big duplex apartment  with a 54 m2 patio on a pedestrian street, just one block from the Rambla of Poble Nou, and walking distance to Bogatell and Mar Bella beaches. On the traditional old neighbourhood of Poble Nou and only 5 metro stops from the Gothic Neighbourhood of Barcelona. Two levels ground floor apartment with 4 interior bedrooms, 4 colour bathrooms and a big patio with table and chairs. The owners have obtained a great balance between urban design in the traditional old family house. M45 duplex and M45 loft-studio can be rented together for big groups up to 8 people

• Red bedroom with two single beds and lots of closet space, 
• Green bedroom with two single beds and lots of closet space,
• Two other bathrooms with shower,
• All the bathrooms have hair dryer,
• Open kitchen with 2 refrigerators, electric counter top stove, oven, microwave oven, toaster, coffee and tea pots, and all necessary equipment for cooking,
• Washing and drying machines, iron and ironing board,
• Big patio with table, chairs and a big umbrella to protect from the sun,
• Central heating and air conditioning in the living-dining area and the suite bedrooms,
• Bath towels and bed linen are provided,
• Beach towels are not provided,
• Internet Wi-Fi. * 
• Cot for babies upon request. Baby linen are not provided.

The building:

 Completely rehabilitated typical small two stories old village building with brick and stone walls. The very high ceilings of the ground floor have allowed to develop the second level of the apartments. M45 duplex and M45 loft-studio can be rented together for big groups up to 8 people.

Location:

The history of the PobleNou (New Town) goes together with the Industrial Revolution. It was during the XIX and beginnings of the XX centuries when this big area grew and became the Industrial Area of the city with big factories like small towns inside with different brig buildings and tall chimneys. The Textile Industries were the most relevant, but you could find also Metal, Chemical or Food Industries together with small artisan shops.
The big change of all this area started on the year 1986, because of the nomination of Barcelona for the Olympic Games of 1992, and the interest to build in a big area of the Poble Nou the Olympic Village. The big old factories, many of them half abandoned already or divided into smaller industries with lots of undeveloped areas gave place not only to the buildings and installations for the athletes on the Olympic Village but also big open green areas and parks and the discovery that Barcelona had a long coast with lots of different beaches, before only garbage zone, like the well known Marbella beach or the Olympic Port with lots of interesting bars and restaurants on the area.
The Traditional Old Poble Nou still lives around the semi pedestrian Rambla de Poble Nou with lots of bars, restaurants, small picturesque streets, and some of the old brig chimneys, and is surrounded with modern constructions of design office and hotel buildings, and with a future still changing with the project to develop a new Technologic Area in the neighbourhood called “Plan 22@”. Keeping the old center of the Neighbourhood of Poble Nou the rest looks brand new with nice Parcs as the Parc del Poble Nou opened to the beaches of Bogatell and Mar Bella.

Rates

There is a minimum stay requirementof 30 nights.

 When doing an availability search it will only appear the monthly rate. For more than one month see table below and ask for quotation.

Booking fee: 10.00 euros due to management expenses.
Cleaning service fee: There is an obligatory one-time fee of 200.00 euros for apartment-cleaning service at the end of your stay, not included in the above rates tables. 
Breakage or damage deposit: The owner asks for a deposit of 300.00 euros as a guarantee for the flat (this absolutely must be paid in cash on arrival). The amount will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been done. For more of two months there is one month deposit that will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been done.

Lost key surcharge: For every set of keys lost there is a 50.00 euros surcharge.

Arrival/Check-in: The check-in time on your arrival date is generally not before 12:00 noon/midday. If the apartment is available for check in (No previous check out on the same day) early check in can be organized prior to arrival.

Departure/Check-out: The check-out time on your departure date is no later than 10:00 AM

Late arrival-Early surcharges:  Please bear in mind that, if applicable, there are late arrival and early departure fees;

- Arrivals between 22:00 hours and 23:00 hours are subject to a late arrival fee of 25.00 Euros

 - Arrivals between 23:00 and 08:00 hours have a surcharge of 70.00 Euros.

 - Departures between 24:00 and 08:00 hours have a surcharge of 70.00 Euros.

 These surcharges must be paid, cash on arrival, to your receptionist.    

Please note: Reduction of number of guests or of number of nights: These changes must be advised prior to arrival.
Once pre-payment has been made, which confirms a reservation, the reduction of the number of guests or of number of nights, will be subject to a 25.00 euros administration fee for the recalculation of pricing.
But if the number of nights or of guests is reduced between 7 days prior to the arrival and the arrival - recalculation of the price is not possible. 

*WI FI Connection: The owner of the apartment offers WIFI Internet connection in the apartment free of charge. Any incidence or problem concerning the Internet service due to the communications company that provides it (such as connection failures, signals, router, maintenance, etc.) WILL NOT REDUCE THE TOTAL PRICE FOR THE APARTMENT.

Internet information for guests travelling from USA and Israel: Wireless cards from USA and Israel may have incompatibilities in Spain.

Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona and to enjoy the stay. Clients MUST RESPECT the neighbours, as the apartment is in a residential block. No parties are allowed in the apartment, party outside. If the neighbours complain or the police is called it will result in immediate eviction without refund.

The meeting point for this apartment is in front of the same building.
Please remember that once in Barcelona you must call to organize the check-in (allow for approximately 30 minutes minimum).
