  • A comfortable dining area with table and chairs for four.

  • Full bathroom with shower.
  • Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator and ice box, electric counter top stove, microwave oven, toaster, juice squeezer, electric kettle, coffee and tea pots, and all necessary equipment for cooking.
  • New aluminium door windows that open to the balconies.
  • Colour TV, radio CD, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, alarm clock.
  • Central heating and air conditioning.
  • Bath towels and bed linen are provided.
  • Beach towels are not provided.
  • Cot for babies upon request. Baby linen are not provided.

The building:

 It is an old building of the Gothic District that, at the time, formed part of the old walls that surrounded the city. The facade has been recently restored. The stairs, like all at the time, are narrow and winding, better to leave great suitcases at home.

Location:

In the historic center of the city, just in the middle of the Barrio Gótico with the narrow and winding streets that makes the Gothic Quarter unique in the world. Close to Plaça Sant Jaume and walking distance from the most interesting attractions that the city offers: Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya, beaches, the Picasso Museum, the Liceo Opera House, the Cathedral, the beautifill Gothic church Santa Maria de Mar in “el Borne Quarter” and the central shopping area, etc. The apartment is in the perfect location for somebody that wants to be really in the Old Town, inside of the Area of the first walls of Barcelona, and specially for somebody that wants to know and live inside the Gothic Quarter.  Being in the Old Town you are also very well connected with metros to other parts of Barcelona with interesting sights to visit like the Park Guell, the Montjuich Mountain, the Sagrada Familia or the Olimpic Port.
Another interesting way of visiting the rest of city is using the Barcelona Bus Turistic with 3 different lines and 44 stops to get to know everything about the city.

In general there is a 3 nights minimum stay requirement.

 

During special events, fairs, congresses and holidays the apartments may have:

  • a surcharge,
  • a different minimum stay,
  • an obligatory prepayment of 100% - (see Terms and Conditions).

Booking fee: 10.00 euros due to management expenses.
Cleaning service fee: There is an obligatory one-time fee of 40.00 euros for apartment-cleaning service at the end of your stay, not included in the above rates tables.
Breakage or damage deposit: The owner asks for a deposit of 200.00 euros as a guarantee for the flat (this absolutely must be paid in cash on arrival). The amount will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been done.

Lost key surcharge: For every set of keys lost there is a 50.00 euros surcharge.

 

Check out time: Check out time is no later than 11:00Hs.
Late Arrival-Early Departure Fee: Arrivals after 21:00Hs and Departures before 08:00Hs have to pay a surcharge of 30.00 euros (this surcharges must be paid to the receptionist in cash).

 

Please note: Reduction of number of guests or of number of nights: These changes must be advised prior to arrival.
Once pre-payment has been made, which confirms a reservation, the reduction of the number of guests or of number of nights, will be subject to a 25.00 euros administration fee for the recalculation of pricing.
But if the number of nights or of guests is reduced between 7 days prior to the arrival and the arrival - recalculation of the price is not possible. 

 

IMPORTANT: Please read and take notice of House Rules and Terms and Conditions.

Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona and to enjoy the stay. Clients MUST RESPECT the neighbours, as the apartment is in a residential block. No parties are allowed in the apartment, party outside. If the neighbours complain or the police is called it will result in immediate eviction without refund.

 

 

The Meeting Point

 

The meeting point for this apartment is in front of the clothing store called DESIGUAL in the Plaça Sant Jaume (at Sant Jaume Square corner with Ferran Street).
Please remember that once in Barcelona you must call to organize the check-in (allow approximately 30 minutes minimum for our arrival).
