The apartment

Apartment in Barcelona, spacious and very sunny. Wide long cover 14m2 balcony with beautiful views over Gaudi's Sagrada Familia. Two bedrooms and one bathroom self-service comfortable Barcelona accomodation. There is another identical apartment in the same building, for a total of ten people.

Description of the layout:

• A nice bright living-dining area with one double sofa bed, table and chairs for five and a wide balcony door.
• A very comfartable long wide cover open balcony with views to the Sagrada Familia.

• One large bedroom with lots of closet space, one double bed and balcony door. 
• Second bedroom with a single bed and a balcony door.
• Complete bathroom with bathtub and bidet.
• Open equipped kitchen with large refrigerator and freezer, electric stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, juice squeezer, coffee and tea pots, electric kettle and all necessary equipment for cooking.
• Cloth Washing Machine and Dryer.
• Colour satellite TV, DVD, iron and ironing board, hair dryer.
• Wi-fi Internet Connection at small extra cost.*
• Central heating and air conditioning system.
• Bath towels and bed linen are provided.
• Beach towels are not provided.
• Cot for babies upon request with a surcharge of 20.00 euros.
• No pets allowed.

The building:

 Brand new modern construction six story high, with elevators, located 2 minutes walking to Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Church and to two metro lines. 

Location:

In the Eixample neighbourhood (the Expansion), whose development occurred in the middle of the 19th century due to the necessity to extend the city. Barcelona had been obliged to conserve its medieval structure because of the prohibition to build outside the city walls, but with the beginning of industrialization and the great density of population the medieval walls collapsed, and the city could expand.
Walking distance to Gaudi's Sagrada Familia Church and to many other buildings of the Modernist and Noucentista (Post Art Nouveau) styles, residential or public buildings from well known architects from the time like the Casa de les Punxes on Diagonal Avenue, or Casa Macaya, on Passeig de Sant Joan boulevard, both from architect Josep Puig I Cadafalc. Wide avenues with bike lanes and gardens, nice squares and shopping areas, bars, restaurants will complete the view of this part of the city.
And very well connected with buses and metro lines nearby to the other interesting sites of Barcelona, like the Gothic Quarter with the roman monuments, the Liceo Opera House, the Picasso Museum and the famous Ramblas, the beaches, the Montjuïch Mountain with the Miró Foundation, or the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya and Exhibitions at Caixa Forum building also from architect Josep Puig I Cadafalc.

During special events, fairs, congresses and holidays the apartments may have:

• a surcharge,
• a different minimum stay,
• an obligatory prepayment of 100% - (see Terms and Conditions).

REQUEST BOOKING

Booking fee: 10.00 euros due to management expenses.
Cleaning service fee: There is an obligatory one-time fee of 34.00 euros for apartment-cleaning service at the end of your stay, not included in the above rates tables.
Breakage or damage deposit: At arrival you can provide your credit card details or leave a cash deposit of 150.00 euros. If cash deposit, it will be returned at the end of the stay if no damage has been done.

Check in time: Check in time is from 13 to 23:00Hs. Later hours only by previous arrangement.

Check out time: Check out time is at 11:00Hs.

 Please note:  Reduction of number of guests or of number of nights, will be subject to a 25.00 euros administration fee. The changes must be advised prior to the arrival. If you reduce the number of nights or of guests between 7 days prior to the arrival and the arrival - recalculation of price is not possible.

*WI FI Connection: The owner of the apartment offers WIFI Internet connection in the apartment. Any incidence or problem concerning the Internet service due to the communications company that provides it (such as connection failures, signals, router, maintenance, etc.) WILL NOT REDUCE THE TOTAL PRICE FOR THE APARTMENT.

Internet information for guests travelling from USA and Israel: Wireless cards from USA and Israel may have incompatibilities in Spain.

IMPORTANT: Please read and take notice of House Rules and Terms and Conditions.

Our main objective is for the client to have a good experience in Barcelona and to enjoy the stay. Clients MUST RESPECT the neighbours, as the apartment is in a residential block. No parties are allowed in the apartment, party outside. If the neighbours complain or the police is called it will result in immediate eviction without refund.

The Meeting Point

 The meeting point for key pick up and check-in for this apartment is in the apartment owners’ office at the following address: Ronda Universitat, number 20.

Important: Since the office elevator has caused many problems in the past, it is very important that when you go to the apartment owners’ office for the check in or out, you do not use the lift with more than 4 people excluding luggage! In case of bigger groups we would appreciate if just one or two people go up to do the check in and the rest of the group wait downstairs outside the building! Thanks for your patience and consideration.
